State House
Architect: Guy Tarrant Architects
This 1940s state house was transformed into a contemporary family home through a carefully considered renovation and extension designed by Guy Tarrant Architects.
The project involved restoring and reconfiguring the original weatherboard bungalow while adding a substantial extension that more than doubled the home's footprint. A light-filled open-plan living area, vaulted ceilings, custom joinery, and refined detailing create a seamless connection between the original home and the contemporary addition.
The result is a home that respects its heritage character while delivering the space, functionality, and craftsmanship required for modern family living.
